Q & A

Do I need to be good at art?

To participate in art therapy, you absolutely do not have to have any skills or experiences in art. In art therapy sessions, our focus is on the process of art making, not the finished product.

Can I use Medicare or NDIS?

Unfortunately art therapy is not currently covered by the Medicare rebate. However it is covered by NDIS funding. my services are available to self managed and plan managed participants.

Who is it for?

For anyone of any age can benefit, including those experiencing: disability, neurodiversity, healing from trauma, family and relationship issues, grief and loss, mental health recovery etc.

What training do art therapists have?

In Australia, certified and registered art therapists are required to complete a Master's degree with minimum 750 hours of clinical training.
